Expertise

& Experience

We ensure patients receive the best possible care, uniquely tailored to their specific needs.

Personalized & Safe Care

Our anesthesia is always patient-centric, focusing on safety and comfort.

Convenience & Flexibility

Our office-based approach not only saves time, but also offers a more relaxed and familiar environment.

  • What types of procedures are best for office-based anesthesia?
The simple answer is: the uncomfortable ones. Patients with pain, anxiety, and comfort concerns are able to relax in the familiarity of their doctor's office for routine procedures, potentially avoiding a surgery center or hospital setting.
  • How do I know if my doctor uses mobile anesthesia?
Just ask! SAP works directly with providers (doctors and surgeons) to arrange a mobile anesthesia agreement.
  • Can I hire SAP for my surgery?
We do not contract directly with patients for anesthesia needs. If you feel our mobile services could be beneficial to you, please ask your provider to reach out to us.
  • How much does this cost?
The cost largely depends on what type of procedure you are having. Our goal is that finances always be transparent and fair. All bookings require a pre-operative deposit that will be applied to the total price of anesthesia. You will never be pressured to undergo anesthesia without first agreeing to the full, fixed cost of our service.
  • Will I meet my anesthesia provider before surgery?
We take great care to review our patients' medical histories and get to know them prior to their procedures. You will be introduced to your provider prior to any procedure, as well as have ample opportunity to ask questions.
  • What kind of anesthesia will I be given?
This largely depends on the type of procedure you are having. We are skilled in a wide range of anesthetics, from mild sedation to general anesthesia, and will carefully review your specific details to determine a plan tailored to your needs. Our goal is that you be comfortable and appropriately sedated for your entire procedure.
  • What if I get nauseated during my procedure?
The type of anesthetics we use rarely result in nausea. On the off chance you do experience some nausea, we have plenty of options available to treat this quickly.
  • When can I eat and drink?
As a general rule, patients should not eat after midnight prior to their procedure. You will be instructed by your CRNA and surgeon when you may eat and drink post-procedure.
  • What is a CRNA?
CRNA stands for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. "CRNAs are advanced practice registered nurses with graduate level education who [have earned] a high degree of autonomy and professional respect. CRNAs provide anesthetics to patients in every practice setting, and for every type of surgery or procedure. They are the sole anesthesia providers in nearly all rural hospitals, and the main provider of anesthesia to the men and women serving in the U.S. Armed Forces." (TANA, 2024)
  • I have a question about my anesthesia discharge instructions.
Patients who have undergone anesthesia should not drink alcohol, take tranquillizers or sleeping medications, drive, operate heavy machinery, or make important decisions for the following 24 hours. You will need a driver to take you home from your procedure. If at any time following your procedure you experience shortness of breath, pain in your chest/arms/shoulders/lower legs, feelings of numbness or paralysis, severe confusion, dizziness, slurred speech, or double vision, you should go to the nearest emergency room.
  • I have a question about my bill.
You may email us at info@southeatanesthesiapartners.com or call 615-423-8390 with your question. Please have your account number available.
  • I would like to leave a review.
We appreciate your feedback! Please email to info@southeastanesthesiapartners.com.
